St. Patrick Catholic Church in Yorkville is seeking a full-time Director of Faith Formation for a parish of 1,600+ families.  The position is responsible for K-8 Faith Formation and adult formation programs and budgets and will manage and serve as a resource to the Youth Minister and related programs.  Ideal candidate will possess a M.A. in Theology, Catechetic or related field and have 3-5 years of experience in parish catechetical ministry.    The applicant must be a self-starter, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and must possess strong skills in organization, administration, and recruitment/formation of volunteers.  The applicant must also be fully committed to the teachings of the Catholic Church, and share the church’s vision of the New Evangelization and empowering parents to be the primary catechists of their children.  A competitive salary and benefits package is available.  This position is available in July, 2012.  Please send resume and three references to the attention of Susan Smerz at susansmerz@stpatrickyorkville.org  or by fax at 630-553-2695.  A full job description is available upon request.
