2025 Ministry Formation Certification Mass - Group 21

After two years of preparation, a group of 92 catechetical leaders were commissioned by Bishop David Malloy as Lay Ecclesial Ministers. The commissioning mass took place on Sunday, October 26, at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Rockford.

The bilingual mass was presided by Bishop Malloy, and concelebrated by Fr. Carl Beekman. Deacons Robert Mitchison and Armando Regalado assisted. Hymns in English and Spanish were interpreted by pianist/cantor Alex Honkamp. 

After the commissioning, attendees enjoyed a time of sharing and camaraderie in the parish hall.
